Bathrooms normally benefit from a bright and clean base in the form of white sanitaryware. With a white basin, toilet and bath to start with making the space feel fresher can be as simple as adding a soft and neutral colour to walls; grey is particularly on-trend yet offers a timeless freshness. An even easier way to achieve a brighter look by complementing already light spaces with a zingy green or lemon yellow, and, if you add this colour through something like your towels, it’s easy to update as the seasons change.
